Christmas in pictures

and a few words…

What a wonderful Christmas week it’s been! I’ve loved spending time with my family and being at home. I’ve slept past 7am every morning (incredible) and have enjoyed LOTS of good food (and drinks)!

I got home around 6pm on Christmas Eve and was greeted with this:

On Christmas Eve every year, my family goes to our favorite Italian restaurant. Champagne and the best pizza ever (if you haven’t tried broccoli on pizza, you’re really missing out)

Yesterday, I got my sweat on with one of Kayla Itsines’ workouts (I have completed her first edition Bikini Body Guide program and plan on reviewing it in a future post). I like that her workouts are quick but make you want to puke a little. Think jumping lunges, 50 push-ups, leg lift crunches, whew! Then, I was off to my massage. My upper back is incredibly sore today from it… Exactly what I needed (now, I just need this guy to move to Nashville). I spent the rest of the day meeting Brent’s family. I didn’t want to worry about my phone since it was my first time meeting them, so no pictures were taken. Plus, I didn’t want to weird them out with taking thousands of pictures of my food (not yet anyway…).

This morning, I’ve been playing with my new toy :)

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/92c/79404051/files/2014/12/img_3436.jpgI love it and can’t wait to start using it instead of my phone for this little blog!

After my brother finally drug himself out of bed, I hopped on my parents’ elliptical for 45min with my girl, Teri.

Now, I’m sipping on this lovely green juice I made (much needed). Appetizing, right?

So, there were more words than pictures I think, but, all in all, great Christmas! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday as well and got to relax and spend time with your loved ones. I have a fun afternoon/evening planned with friends, and I will recap it (and hopefully be recapping a dinner made in my NEW crockpot!) after I’m back in Nashville tomorrow!
